Well the time has come for a final group update. The pups are officially 6 weeks old and although they still get a little milk from mom, they are mostly eating soft puppy food. This week the pups got a 6 wk. De-worm and have grown tremendously since we last weighed them.
FYI: We usually start crate training at 6 weeks.
Several pups in this litter still desperately need a home!

Fran -- Fawn/rust Female -- AVAILABLE

We no longer have a runt. I am happy to say that Fran has grown to match several others in the litter. This little girl is the sweetest, most timid pup we have ever had. She is gentle and loves to snuggle and give love. Just look at this little one’s face! Fran wants a home with LOTS of love and isn’t TOO active.
Gerti -- Fawn/rust Female -- AVAILABLE

Gerti is more prone to explore yet is still sweet and gentle in nature. She would like an easy going family that is active and preferably has kids. Gerti is also a darker fawn than Fran, you can only tell it when they are together though.
Helga -- Black/rust Female -- SOLD on Jan. 3, 2009

As you can see, Helga has gorgeous markings. She is very curious and likes to play. She is our friskiest of the girls. She has a longer snout than the others and will look much more ferocious than she does now, LOL! She is a character and needs playmates.
DeDee -- Black/rust Female -- AVAILABLE

Sweet Dedee! This little girl is also timid and quiet. She is gentle and a little unsure of herself so far. For the most part, she lets her brothers and sisters dictate what she should do. She is also very observant and I believe she is very intelligent. I have seen her watching her siblings and doing some things they do and also fight back when she decides she has had enough. Dedee will need a little more handling and love to overcome her submissive nature or could do very well with another more dominant dog.
Ethan -- Red/rust Male -- AVAILABLE

This chunk is a favorite as he has LOTS of spunk. Ethan is into everything, he likes to explore, play and down right be rowdy! If you are looking for a pretty boy to entertain another active dog or active kids, this is the way to go!
Ethan is a ball of energy.
Ian -- Red/rust Male -- AVAILABLE

Ian is our gentle giant. He remains the largest of our litter. We expect him to be a good 80 pounds when he is full grown. He has bigger bone structure than most of the others making his head and paws quite large. Don’t worry he will definitely grow into them. He weighs nearly 11 pounds now. As for temperament, this one is an exact replica of his daddy which is everything we could have ever dreamed of in a dog. If you like an obedient, tolerant, gentle giant for yourself, then Ian would make a perfect match. There is no strong will, just an innate desire to please. Ian is extremely laid back.
