This red/tan female is now living
with Brittany and Brent in Mississippi.

August 20, 2006 -

Brittany and Brent drove over 7 hours ONE Way to meet this little girl and then take her back home to meet the family.

After getting back home, we talked. Brittany informed me of the chosen name - Reece - and told me that she did really well on the ride home, less the first 20 minutes into it! After listening to her howl for 20 minutes, Brittany said her husband asked if they had gotten a hound dog! But, after that, she calmed down and slept most of the trip. They stopped 5 times to allow her to relieve herself .. and Brittany said everytime they put her in the grass, she did her business almost immediately. Brittany also said she did really well on the leash which is great since that was a first for her.

Once home, they went over to both sets of "grandparents" houses to show off the new member of the family!
