January 18, 2011 -- "Hi Debbie,

I'm just wondering how the puppies are doing. Any new pictures? Are they developing their own personalities yet? I was thinking of adopting the puppy that is more submissive versus more dominant, but not shy. I would like to have his ears cropped with your vet and air shipped to one of the airports where I live. Thanks Debbie have a good night =)

RESPONSE:

"Hi Lucia,
Yes, pups are growing fast! They are fat little pumpkins right now and so much fun! I will let you know if any personality traits start to stand out, but right now they all three are so sweet and loveable you couldn't go wrong with any of them! Seriously :o) !

Shipping is through the airlines. We take care of everything. You simply have to show up to the airport at the time of arrival. Cost includes crate, health certificate, and flight. Pups will be 8 weeks old February 6th. Tentatively we should be able to ship close to that date. I need names of Airports you wish to use. Give me 2 or 3 airports in order of preference.

On the Ear Crop (Cost is additional): There will be several follow up visits to change and retape ears. This is the first time Laura and I have had litters at the same time. My vet in Nacogdoches won't do the ears until 12-15 weeks, so I only use her on our own personal pets. Laura's vet in Dallas will do ears earlier if new owners don't have a reputable vet, but under the circumstance with Laura having pups, too, I'm not sure we can swing it time wise. Let me know your thoughts on this.

Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly. I will be sending the payment soon. Regarding ear cropping; I have talked to some people that have used a vet in Milpitas for Doberman ear cropping and I'm going to go to their office on Sunday to check out some pictures of his work and stuff so it will be ok with me if he does not have them done before shipping. All the pups are so adorable but I really like Diesel the most and he would be my pick whenever it's my chance to choose. Yey! I can't wait to have him home! I wanted to get a week off work to be with the puppy when he gets to me, and the sooner we can figure out what day would work best to ship him the better it would be for me to give a notice at my work. Thanks!"

I should be able to find out when shipping date will be, hopefully in time for you to give notice at work. Not sure how far in advance official bookings take place, but will find out and let you know. Good decision on ears. I know how excited and anxious you are, I was exactly the same waiting on Pyro! Seemed like FOREVER before I was able to grab him up and hug and kiss him, but I promise "Diesel" will be worth the wait. He reminds me so much of Pyro, big lovable, alert - I'm excited for you and him!!!!! --Debbie"

January 5, 2011 -- "Hi Lucia,

I received your deposit, thank you. This secures your pick of the black males. I am thrilled you are so excited about owning one of our babies, they are precious pups. A lot of time and love go into our babies and we want only the best of homes and owners for them. If you have never owned a Doberman you will be hooked for life, if you have, you already are hooked! Pyro was our first Doberman and is awesome! We now own two females, Ellie and Aires, who just added to our family and are great. Ellie has had three litters and this litter is Aires first. All four litters have been a great family experience for us as we ALL get involved with the whole process from birth to the day we have to say goodbye. I will keep you posted as new pictures are taken.

July 18, 2010 -- Hello, my name is Lucia and I have been looking for a good Doberman. I have to say your web site has been the best I have come across. I love how you care for the puppies and how you keep in touch with the families as the puppies grow. I have read the books you have recommended and it has given me a better understanding of my future best friend. I have also spent a lot of time on your web site reading testimonials and going to every puppy page you have, and I am impressed with how much you love the pups. I would like to make a deposit for a black male puppy in late December or January. I would like to know if there are any requirements for me to purchase a puppy from you. Please let me know when you would need the deposit and what the next steps are.

November 20, 2011 -- I have my heart set on a black male that I will be naming Suby. He will definitely be an indoor pup and eventually I would love to teach him to swim in our pool. Our house has a nice size backyard with a wooden fence that is about 9 feet high. There will be plenty of people to love him and take care of him. I have picked a doggy school for him already and everyone here is very excited to hear any news. Thanks!
