Sable went into labor quick, around 1:00 a.m. and first pup born a little after 2:00 a.m.
All pups were born healthy and strong, nursing shortly after birth. No runts.
Birth order with time --
A little after 2:00 a.m. first pup born - Black Female
About 2:30 a.m. second pup born - Black Female
Shortly after, 2:50 a.m. third pup born - Red Male
Almost 3:00 a.m. fourth pup born - Red Male
Took a little break, then around 4:00 a.m. fifth pup born - Black Male
A little after 5:00 a.m. sixth pup born - Black Female
Close to 6:00 a.m. seventh pup born - Black Male
Around 7:00 a.m. eighth pup born - Red Male
About 9:15 a.m. ninth pup born - Black Female
Shortly after 10:00 a.m. tenth and last pup born - Black Female
Notice in the background --
Grandmother to this litter, Scarlett, stayed up and watched
most of the night. I couldn't believe Sable allowed her presence.
