Pups got to go play outside for the first time today.
Hannah (Sable's black/rust granddaughter, soon to be owned by our kids' grandmother) had a lot of fun playing with the pups. Sable allowed both Hannah and Coco to enjoy playtime.

Pups are moving around very good at this point which has our
Cocker Spaniel (Coco) extremely interested in them. Mom actually allowed
her to briefly interact with the puppies, however notice in the video
how abruptly Coco leaves when Mom was done with the visit taking
on a silent, affirmative stance. You also get to witness how funny

Mom decided it was time to begin weaning. Received puppy food
for first time today. Pups were HUNGRY! We have never had a litter

We now have a "cute and fluffy" member of our canine family - Coco (Cocker Spaniel). She wants so badly to play with the little ones. Sable is not thrilled by Coco's eagerness to be present, but does tolerate her.

Next link is to a very short video where Tank was caught climbing out of the shower to get to mom. All pups followed and have taken over entire bathroom this week. It's been fun.

The beginning of this litter was eventful, not necessarily in a positive light. Sable had an emergency c-section on July 27, 2014. To avoid the sad details, let's just get to the positive - There are 5 healthy, strong babies (out of 10, if you are curious).
