Pups are lots more playful this week! It's too funny watching them as they try to make their bodies move in ways they don't yet know how to control .. which sends them tumbling.
We moved their set up under the trampoline this week. Tried to set them up on the porch, but they were causing too much mess by the door by not making it to the grass. After being under the trampoline, they have learned to move away from their area to "do their business". Guess that is a step in the right direction for future potty training.
Pups are weaned from mom now and are on hard food. I noticed them suddenly not acting too enthusiastic about the softened food. So, I put down hard food and they attacked it, eating until their bellies felt like they would pop!

Set the pups up under the trampoline today. They love it!
April 17, 2007 -
Noticed pups not much interested in softened food today.
Put down dry and they ate until their bellies were about to pop!
Gave pups 1st round of shots today since weaned off mom.
(Note: 1 week earlier than planned.)
Dewormed: 4/17, 4/18, 4/19
April 21, 2007 -
Mowed the yard today while the pups were out. Not one of them was terrified of the mower. Once they realized the sound was coming from something I was in control of, they were fine to go about their business. Very confident pups!!
April 23, 2007 -
Linda drove down from Illinois by herself to visit with the pups and us. Her hope was to be able to choose her pup then go back home leaving the baby with us for another couple of weeks.
We had a fun time!
